Computers are merely the descendants of the power looms and steam engines that hastened the Industrial Revolution. But this new class of machine grasps the symbols in language, music and programming and uses them in ways that seem creative. A bit like a human.
This can be hard to grasp for some individuals and organizations. They have little knowledge of how AI systems work – let alone how they can be creative.
