Art and technology are not always thought of together. And certainly, artificial intelligence (AI) may not be the next thing to add to this mix. However, the newest displays of text-to-image technology from Google is inspiring.  Venture Beat brought this interesting information to us in their article, “The future of creativity, brought to you by artificial intelligence.”

Beautiful, amazingly creative compilations all generated by AI systems are made possible because AI has learned natural language understanding by looking at countless texts and images.

Computers are merely the descendants of the power looms and steam engines that hastened the Industrial Revolution. But this new class of machine grasps the symbols in language, music and programming and uses them in ways that seem creative. A bit like a human.

This can be hard to grasp for some individuals and organizations. They have little knowledge of how AI systems work – let alone how they can be creative.

Explainable AI allows users to comprehend and trust the results and output created by machine learning algorithms.
