Still Time to Submit Proposal for SSP 2023

The Society for Scholarly Publishing’s 45th Annual Meeting will be held May 31 – June 2, 2023, and there’s still time to submit your proposal. The Scholarly Kitchen brought this reminder to our attention in their article, “SSP 2023 Annual Meeting Submission Deadline is Approaching — Don’t Miss Out!“

The deadline for Educational Session proposals is Friday, November 11. Submissions for the posters and 5-minute previews sessions are open as well. Poster proposals can be submitted through January 27, 2023, and preview session proposals can be submitted through February 3, 2023. Guidelines can be found here.

The theme for the 2023 is Transformation, Trust, and Transparency. With the pace of change in our industry and seismic shifts in areas such as the dissemination of research, business models and the nature of the workplace, the pressure for change has become the new normal.

The SSP community continues to focus on bringing together academics, funders, librarians, publishers, service providers, technologists and countless others with a communal interest and stake in disseminating scholarly information.
