The healthcare industry has been a big adopter of VR technology. It helps their professionals train and prepare for real-world scenarios, such as surgery. Teams can plan out complicated procedures and even diagnose and treat computer-generated patients.
At the end of 2021, over 6 million virtual reality headsets were sold, bringing the cumulative total to 16.44 million in play. As more headsets become available and more affordable, this number will only grow.
