Ethics in technology refers to moral principles that govern how technologies should be used. These principles include accountability, digital rights, privacy, freedom, data protection, online behavior, and more. As new technologies become available, people invariably discuss the ethics surrounding their use, in an attempt to ensure their primarily positive impact on the human race and the environment.
The effects of machine learning on our lives and the processes associated with the integration of the two (i.e. artificial intelligence (AI), optimization, etc.) are therefore a constant subject of critique.
The real challenge comes from the fact that most organizations have little insight into either how AI systems make their decisions or how AI results can be applied. Explainable AI allows users to comprehend and trust the results and output created by machine learning algorithms.
