Machine learning has significantly influenced public health by improving how data is analyzed, interpreted and applied to decision making. By processing large and complex datasets, machine learning systems can detect patterns that would be difficult for humans to identify. This capability has strengthened disease surveillance, enabling earlier detection of outbreaks and more accurate forecasting of their spread. Predictive models have supported vaccination planning, hospital resource allocation and targeted interventions in high risk communities. Machine learning has also advanced diagnostic accuracy.
