Then there is software development. Traditionally, it can be messy and resource heavy. AI-assisted tools now help developers write cleaner, more efficient code, which means applications need less power to run and less storage to exist. Your hardware lives longer, your systems breathe easier and your sustainability report looks a lot nicer.

This is still evolving, but the early signs are encouraging. GenAI is not just automating tasks. It is helping organizations be smarter about how they use technology in the first place.
