So what does cloud storage capacity actually mean? Technically, every server has limits. But cloud providers are masters of scaling. Need more space? They just… add more. For users, it feels basically endless.

Behind the scenes, your data gets split up, copied and stored across multiple servers and locations. That is what keeps it safe when something breaks, because something always breaks somewhere.

Of course, all that storage comes with a cost. Not just financially, but environmentally. That is why providers are investing big in greener infrastructure and more sustainable ways to keep all your stuff stored and accessible.

So no, the cloud is not infinite. But with how fast it can scale, it might as well be.
