Privacy and cybersecurity add another challenge. People must understand what information they are sharing, where it goes and how digital platforms may use it.

At the same time, technology creates tremendous opportunities for learning, collaboration and innovation. Digital literacy empowers people to take advantage of those opportunities rather than simply react to technological change.

In the current environment, digital literacy is not about mastering every new tool. It is about developing the judgment, curiosity and adaptability to use technology responsibly and knowing when technology should be questioned rather than trusted.
