The Association of American Publishers (AAP) is offering some educational and networking opportunities next month. The first one up can be attended in-person or via webinar. The Professional/Scholarly Publishing Committee for Digital Innovation is hosting guest speakers Todd Carpenter, Executive Director of the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) and James Hennelly, Managing Editor of RDA Toolkit of the American Library Association. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the AAP New York office.

Next, the Professional/Scholarly Publishing Committee will also be hearing from guest speaker Roger C. Schonfeld, Director of the Library and Scholarly Communication Program at Ithaka S+R on Friday, June 12th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the AAP New York office. This event is also available in-person or via webinar.

Finally, there is a free brown bag luncheon on “Engaging your audience, not p@#%ing them off…” scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the AAP New York office.
