July 30, 2010 – ContextWeb has announced the launch of Real-Time Classifier (RTC), which categorizes web pages in real time across more than 450 content categories, enabling them to maximize the impact of content and adhere seamlessly to the IAB’s taxonomy guidelines.
This news was shared by BusinessWire in their article, “ContextWeb Introduces ContextWeb Real-Time Classifier (RTC) to Make Online Contextualization More Widely Available and Simplify Adherence to New IAB Taxonomy Standards”. The new IAB Quality Assurance Guidelines provide universally defined content categories for trading media against this content, and are designed to bring transparency, control and simplicity to buyers and sellers who trade media on ad networks and exchanges. ContextWeb’s ADSDAQ Ad Exchange, which already utilizes RTC, also adheres to the taxonomy standards that are a part of the IAB’s Networks and Exchanges Quality Assurance Guidelines.
Adhering to standards is good. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI and ISO compliant taxonomies.
