July 8, 2010 – Headhunters are contacting employees of information technology firms, specifically linguistics and Internet search specialists, in preparation for an official project start on a new Internet search engine.
This news was shared by The Moscow Times in their article, “Like Yandex, Only Bigger”. Being as brave as to say “The scale and ambition of the project are, perhaps, aiming much higher than your company…”, headhunters from Arthur Hunt Group are out hard and heavy at employees from companies like Yandex, Mail.ru, and Rambler. Though not official, they are claiming a start-up budget of $100 million, and that has many a people and company’s attention.
In today’s world of semantic technology, this is no small project. It will be interesting to watch how this plays out.
