August 30, 2010 – Come November, Washington D.C. will be the location of some good learning opportunities – Taxonomy Boot Camp 2010 and KMWorld 2010. However, the agendas reveal some disparity in representation.
Speakers at the joint events include Thomas Vander Wal from InfoCloud Solutions, Inc., Dave Snowden from Cognitive Edge, and our own Marjorie M.K. Hlava from Access Innovations. Diamond sponsors include Google and we are proud to say Access Innovations is a platinum sponsor along with several others. Interestingly though, the speaker time ratio between sponsors and non-sponsors is significantly weighted. Real Group is listed in the program and between two representatives, Tony Byrne and Jarrod Gingras, they are on at least 14 times with 14.25 hours of face time. But they aren’t sponsors.
The Information Today meetings are known to have a few pet speakers in the past, so maybe these are the new “special” children. But who are they? What do they do?
