Back Up, Back Up and then Back Up Again

Our identities are under attack on a daily basis. It has moved beyond the risk of shopping online to just talking on your cell phone. We hand over personally identifiable information every day. Unfortunately, identity thieves know that and know how to intercept it.

Laptop Magazine’s article, “10 Tips For Protecting Your Identity,” is where we found this topic, but it merely reminded me of the chaos I experienced a few months ago when my personal email and Facebook accounts were hijacked. Not only did they gain access, they changed passwords and deleted all my information stored in various email folders. It took weeks to gain complete access and then I still lost a lot of archival information.

This article has very good tips on how to protect your identity and your information. It is certainly worth the time to read. Maybe it will save you from the hassles I experienced.
