Health Care Logistics Chooses Metalogix for SharePoint Migration

Health Care Logistics has purchased Metalogix Migration Manager for SharePoint to migrate from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2010. Using Microsoft tools would have taken much longer for the migration.

This interesting piece of news was found on MarketWire in their article, “Health Care Logistics Speeds Upgrade to SharePoint 2010 With Metalogix Migration Manager for SharePoint.” Needing a seamless SharePoint migration solution that wouldn’t take an extraordinary amount of time to complete, the Health Care Logistics folks saw the logic (pun totally intended) in Metalogix’s product.

Migrating extensive document libraries of business processes, lists and permissions, and recreating unstructured data can be time-consuming and distract IT staff from other projects. Because Metalogix eliminated the need to build temporary data farms, the migration to SharePoint 2010 avoided that scenario.
