We have talked about the evolution of the e-book, e-readers and digital content. We have often referred to Heather Hedden’s contribution to the world of taxonomy and specifically her book, The Accidental Taxonomist. Now we can talk about both in the same article.

Hedden’s book, The Accidental Taxonomist, addresses taxonomy software and categorization software. More specifically, the book squarely addresses the growing demand for, and interest in, taxonomy. It is a good read for the novice taxonomist to the experienced professional. So it is nice to see it moving into the world of digital content so readers have better access.
