Known as a provider of open source middleware for data and application integration, Talend has added cloud support to its integration platform. Using a shared metadata repository complete with administration and development tools, they can address problems resulting from the distribution of data across many different systems.

Cloud usage has become the norm in IT these days, but there still seems to be confusion as to handling hybrid environments. Talend Cloud can be installed across distributed systems and can expand and contract as needed.
