Ontology Matching Workshop in Germany This Fall

The Sixth International Workshop on Ontology Matching will take place in October in Bonn, Germany. The workshop will bring leaders from a variety of backgrounds to assess how academic advances are or are not addressing real-world requirements when it comes to ontology matching.

An ontology provides a vocabulary that describes a domain of interest and meaning of terms used in the vocabulary. Ontology encompasses several data/conceptual models, such as classifications, database schemas and fully axiomatized theories. Ontology matching is a key interoperability enabler for the semantic web.
