DDL Technology Released

PSIGEN Software has released its Data to Document Linking (DDL) technology, which creates a relationship between a single document and sets of data within SharePoint.

Sys-Con Media brought this to our attention in their article, “PSIGEN Introduces New Data to Document Linking (DDL) Technology for SharePoint and Office 365.” This new technology captures documents, classifies them and extracts data. Then the data is sent to a SharePoint Document Library for archive and retrieval purposes. This makes the findability factor much higher.

DDL reduces storage space since it lives in only one place, though referenced in many. Plus, the technology “data enables” your documents so it can be utilized as reference for other Microsoft technologies. This exercise in collaboration is a good example of business intelligence.
