EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) was chosen by Okanagan College in British Columbia, Canada as its discovery service. EDS was selected by the librarians for its simple search process, rich metadata and subject headings.

We found this interesting news on Benzinga in their article, “EBSCO Discovery Service™ is Chosen as the Discovery Solution for Okanagan College in British Columbia.” Students will have the ability to independently search across multiple databases and resources simultaneously. This will replace the previous Google rabbit hole that offers too much distraction from the goal at hand. EDS provides an enhanced search experience that helps consolidate user refinement actions and provide options for basic and advanced users.
