Been craving a trip to the Big Apple? Here is a good reason to justify it to your accountant, boss, or spouse. The 10th International Cloud Expo is scheduled for June 11-14, 2012, at the Javits Center in New York City, New York. This will be the playground for leading cloud industry players.

We found this interesting news on Sys-Con Media in their article, “Crash Course in Open Source Cloud Computing at Cloud Expo New York.” Very few trends in IT have generated as much buzz as cloud computing. Mark Hinkle, Director, Cloud Computing Community at Citrix, will facilitate a session to cut through the hype and clarify the ontology for cloud computing. This interesting session will focus on the open source software that can be used to build compute clouds.
