Social Insight

LocalResponse is now offering an analytics and action platform for marketers. This new adventure will help marketers take advantage of consumer intent by mining mentions and location-enabled check-ins on various social media sites.

This interesting information was found on BetaBeat in their article, “LocalResponse Goes Pro, Launches Analytics Dashboard for Brands to Act on Geo-Targeted Consumer Intent.” The company can analyze both implicit and explicit check-ins by using semantic NLP (natural language parsing). Nice use of semantic technology, but it is important to remember that with social comes collaboration. Having a strategy that focuses on the benefits of social media, and using it to their advantage, can have dynamic results.
