Pandora is known as one of the most popular personalized radio services out there. Now they have rolled out the ‘Inside the Music’ program, in partnership with Intel. The program offers users the opportunity to explore behind the scenes of the Pandora Music Genome Project, providing them with comprehensive information on their favorite music.
Popsop brought this news to our attention in their article, “Pandora Has Launched the ‘Inside the Music’ Program Supported by Intel.” Taking what we all like about Pandora to new realms, this year-long program will cover different genres, starting with rock. Other genres, like R&B, electronica, rap, country and classical will be rolled out later this year.
The 12-year-old Music Genome Project has delivered a hand-built taxonomy of musical DNA to many listeners over the years. This new project will take that one step further.
