Silverchair and American Medical Association Working Together

The American Medical Association (AMA) has introduced the semantic online hosting platform, JAMA Network. This comes from Silverchair Information Systems and is built on the semantic SCM6 platform– a real-world application of semantic theory.

This interesting news was brought to our attention by Market Watch in their article, “The JAMA Network Debuts on Silverchair’s SCM6 Platform.” The JAMA Network brings together the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), along with the AMA’s nine Archives specialty journals and related resources, to create a new user-centered, semantically integrated digital portfolio. Other features of JAMA include user-centered design, mobile optimization, and semantic search.
