I imagine no one would respond, if asked, that they were totally happy with their government and the services those politicians provide. Everyone wants his or her government to be better. We want more; more and cheaper.
This interesting topic was found on Sys-Con Media in their article, “Platform Comes To Washington.” In the recent publication, Digital Government: Building a 21st Century Platform to Better Serve the American People, it seems our government has embraced the idea of efficient information delivery.
They have realized that a well-polished, shiny website is fine, but not at the expense of communication in a timely manner. How this plays out will be interesting. I do wish more organizations realized the importance of timeliness in their communications.
