New Integration Increases Findability

EBSCO Publishing and Innovative Interfaces, Inc. have expanded their collaboration by enabling a more tightly integrated access between EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) and Innovative Interfaces’ Encore discovery platform.

This information was found on Chron in their article, “EBSCO Publishing and Innovative Interfaces Expand Partnership with EBSCO Discovery Service™ and Encore™.” Having access to EDS’s unified index will expand the quality and amount of content available for users. The enhanced features and functionality available will also allow users to search their EBSCO host databases via the Encore interface.

Comprehensive search is important for any document management system. Proper indexing against a strong standards-based taxonomy increases the findability of data. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies.
