SharePoint 2013 doesn’t take huge leaps of change, but more of a continued leg of a journey. Microsoft hasn’t redefined its collaboration software as much as refined it with updated user interfaces and improved utilization of metadata. They also improved the social media functionality.
This interesting news was brought to our attention by Visual Studio magazine in their article, “SharePoint 2013 Changes with the Times.” No release date has been set for this new phase of SharePoint.
