New Arrangement Brings New Content Within Reach

Through a recent agreement with Persée, EBSCO Discovery Service now indexes scientific French journals in the field of humanities. All Persée content includes metadata that enables the users to search the content.

Digital Journal brought this topic to our attention in their article, “Content from Persée Now Searchable via EBSCO Discovery Service.” This new content represents more than 390,000 articles from French journals carefully selected by an editorial board, guaranteeing the collection’s scientific coherence. Some of the topics covered in the journals include anthropology, history, information and communication sciences, and social sciences. This represents another use of the EDS Base Index, which creates a unified, customized index of an institution’s information resources.
