In a few short weeks, we will be in 2013. Though the deadline for healthcare organizations to switch to ICD-10 coding was extended to October 2014, this impending year will be a busy one for healthcare providers. The American Medical Association (AMA) has provided a fact sheet to help practices establish time frames for transition activities, breaking down the process into a series of manageable steps.
