Ontology Systems has recently launched two semantic search solutions targeted for the financial services industry. In addition, they have announced the appointment of Andrea Harding to lead adoption of the solutions by financial services providers.

RealWire brought this news to our attention in their article, “Ontology Launches Solutions For Financial Services Industry.” Ontology is using semantic search to link data from enterprise systems in quantities that have previously been too large of a challenge to attempt. Now users can get a searchable graph from the indexed content without going through data integration from archaic data silos, which a great step forward for a challenging environment.

Andrea Harding’s background is in global banking and financial markets. It is anticipated that her insight will help drive the adoption of semantics throughout the financial services industry.
