Migrating with SharePoint

AvePoint has made available the DocAve File Share Navigator 3.0, which has enhanced performance and support for Microsoft SharePoint 2013.

Newsday brought this our way in their article, “AvePoint Optimizes File Shares for Microsoft SharePoint 2013 with DocAve File Share Navigator 3.0.” DocAve File Share Navigator 3.0 promises to increase content findability by leveraging SharePoint’s full metadata-based search across multiple, distributed file servers. This allows organizations to view and access file share content through SharePoint 2013 without migrating it to SharePoint’s SQL Server content databases. This increases file share activity while reducing costs and those pesky disruptions when migrating data.

SharePoint can change the way users collaborate, manage, and find information. Access Innovations’ Data Harmony suite of content enrichment and thesaurus management tools can be fully integrated with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. SharePoint users can take full advantage of their metadata through auto-classification, enterprise taxonomy management, entity extraction, and search enhancements.
