When you hear of National Shredding Day, do images of Wall Street scandals come to mind? Good, I am not alone. That is what I immediately thought of when I read about the first ever free shredding day in the UK. More than two tons of paper was shredded in Enfield Town in an effort to dispense of unwanted paperwork.
The effort was designed to provide a service helping local residents and businesses to safely carry out their spring cleaning. This interesting and somewhat humorous information came from This is Local London and their article, “First national shredding day comes to Enfield.”
