Free Webinar for SLA Members

A unique learning opportunity is available through the Special Libraries Association (SLA). Offered free to SLA members is the webinar “Social Media in the Library: Discovering Best Practice” sponsored by scholarly and academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group.

The ways that social media tools are selected and used in the library are constantly changing. In this evolving digital and social climate, it is important to keep up. With so many tools available, multiple uses, and many librarians making use of these tools in their libraries, Taylor & Francis has produced a white paper that analyzes the challenges and opportunities presented by social media as a communications tool in the library.

The speaker is Stacy Sieck, Library Communications Manager at Taylor & Francis Group. Stacy is responsible for managing the library marketing and communications activities for North and South America.

The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EST  (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. UTC). It is free to SLA members. If you are not a member, there is time to join.
