Learn More About Big Data Solutions

Managing big data is a constant topic these days. There are varied solutions available to be sure your organization’s data is safe, but accessible. There is an upcoming webinar that addresses data solutions offered by the National Federation of Advanced Information Service (NFAIS). It is titled, “Research Data Publication, Part I: Where We Are Now.”

Scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2015, this webinar is for libraries, researchers, content providers and database administrators. When it comes to big data, open data and research data, these are all terms of significant relevance to information services as it’s delivered in government and the commercial sectors. While these terms tend to be overused and in the realm of buzzwords in other contexts, this isn’t the case at all in information services.
