Samsung has embraced artificial intelligence (AI) as part of their data usage. Connecting users with the technology is made easier through AI. Venture Beat brought this news to us again in their article, “Samsung’s Yoon C. Lee on Bixby, Galaxy Home, and all things AI.”

Bixby 2.0 is the latest generation of Samsung’s digital voice assistant and in comparison to other virtual assistants, it is conversational and within context. Contextualization is just one piece of the AI puzzle, the other is the experience.

Over the last few years, there have been astronomical developments in the fields of deep learning and AI. Pioneering technologies like self-driving cars and natural language processing are set to transform the ways we live our lives, interact with companies, and even perform basic tasks. Of course, this technology is nothing without context. Contextual awareness describes the ability of AI systems and IT components to respond to requests based on their knowledge of the situation.
