You would have to be living under a rock to have not heard about the Russian social media content farms and hacking conversations taking place everywhere in the media and news. Whatever your take on the issue might be, I found it interesting that they used a taxonomy to disseminate the data. This interesting news came to us from FiveThirtyEight in their article, “We Gave You 3 Million Russian Troll Tweets. Here’s What You’ve Found So Far.”

Nearly 3 million tweets affiliated with the Internet Research Agency, a Russian content farm and defendant in one of special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictments, were released.

Many people in the business and the general public took a swipe at trying to determine what the data set has to offer and different ways of visualizing that taxonomy. There are significant differences between the charts, and all of them offer different perspectives. Take a minute to review the results.
