Technology is engaging in varying ways. Anything from quick drug discovery to fight coronavirus, to chatbots used for teledoc applications to supply and demand management for critical supplies.
Almost every industry imaginable, even retail and healthcare, are benefitting from these technologies. The trend for emerging technologies started before the global pandemic, but the demand has certainly increased with intensity since it first arrived.
