Neural Networks and AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is commonly used in the narrative around science and technology. They often work together and those achievements have helped AI gain more recognition. AI’s role allowed machines to learn from their mistakes and do tasks more effectively. Analytics Insight brought this interesting topic to our attention in their article, “What is the Role of Neural Network in Artificial Intelligence?”

Artificial neural networks are one of the main tools used in machine learning. They are brain-inspired systems which are intended to replicate the way that humans learn. Neural networks consist of input and output layers, as well as a hidden layer consisting of units that transform the input into something that the output layer can use. They are excellent tools for finding patterns which are far too complex or numerous for a human programmer to extract and teach the machine to recognize.

Neural networks are fed massive volumes of data in the beginning phases. In most cases, training is done by providing input and informing the network about what should be the output.
