Work has changed and not just because of the pandemic. Even before COVID-19 technology was improving at a faster rate than ever before and impacting how we work, wherever we work from. Venture Beat brought this topic to our attention in their article, “How AI and decision intelligence are changing the way we work.”
With new technology based on artificial intelligence (AI), it’s easier than ever to share data effectively and consistently. Technology now enables businesses to tap the knowledge stored in one person’s mind and translate it into actionable data that anyone can leverage whenever they need it. This technology takes organizational communication and collaboration to the next level.
“AI” has become a catchall term to describe any advancements in computing, systems and technology in which computer programs can perform tasks or solve problems that require the kind of reason we associate with human intelligence, even learning from past processes.
AI and machine learning are at the top of many lists of the most important skills in today’s job market. Jobs requesting AI or machine learning skills are expected to increase by 71% in the next five years.
It has never been more important to understand the technology. Explainable AI allows users to comprehend and trust the results and output created by machine learning algorithms. “Explainable AI” is used to describe an AI model, its expected impact and potential biases. Why is this important? Because the results can have an impact on data security or safety.
