It is without a doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically changed every employee’s way of working, including their habits, location and lifestyle. Co-working spaces have emerged as the best mode for adopting a hybrid model at offices in this new working environment and emerging technology is paving the way. This interesting topic came to us from Human Resources Online in their article, “Navigating the future of work with working spaces, emerging technologies, and skills.”
In many organizations, the pandemic resulted in a workforce that is agile enough to adapt to the ever-changing world. The work lies in preparing employees for post-pandemic scenarios by training them in critical digital technologies – cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), etc. During the restrictions, training was at an all-time high due to availability and focus.
Working in a virtual environment in some form or fashion is here to stay. Even in the best of circumstances, managing a team is a difficult task and managing a workforce in virtual environments can be even more difficult. And then there is the challenge of keeping data secure.
