Many are calling ChatGPT, a new chatbot developed by Open AI, the new Google. It is important to remember, however, that it is less than 100% accurate at the moment. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) brought this interesting news to our attention in their article, “Learning to grow machine-learning models.”
It’s no secret that ChatGPT has some incredible capabilities, including writing poetry at a professional level, debugging code for a computer program, etc. These abilities are made possible by the massive machine learning model that ChatGPT has as basis. Researchers have found that when these types of models become large enough, extraordinary capabilities emerge – as does the cost and time to develop.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has come a long way since its inception in the 1950s, and machine learning has been one of the key drivers behind its growth. With advancements in the field, the AI landscape has changed dramatically, and AI models have become much more sophisticated and human-like in their abilities. ChatGPT is one such model.
