Group Logic Changes Focus to Enterprise Content Management Collaboration Solutions

July 8, 2010 – Addressing the lack of collaborative solutions for enterprise content management, Group Logic, a leading provider of digital content driven solutions, has announced a new strategy to aid customers to quickly and easily access their digital content.

MarketWire shared this news in their article, “Group Logic Announces New Digital Content Collaboration Strategy”.  They share statistics released by IDC in May 2010 stating users created more than 880 billion gigabytes of digital assets. No one is really surprised by this with the onset of social media, but due to the ad-hoc nature of digital asset sharing processes and the mingling of users’ personal and work data on networks and servers, IDC estimates that enterprises are responsible for as much as 80 per cent of the 880 billion gigabytes. Currently there are gaps in solutions to store, index, and retrieve digital data and that is why Group Logic is setting their sights on bridging this gap.
