August 4, 2010 – Open semantic search platform provider Smartlogic made its recent webinar available to review online. The webinar discusses how to improve the search capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint and FAST ESP.

PRWeb brought this announcement to our attention in their post, “Poor Quality Search Results are because Enterprise Users Tag Information Inconsistently, at Too High a Level, or Not At All”. Smartlogic is the developer of the open semantic platform Semaphore, which uses automatic content classification and ontology management to enhance the search and navigation experience in SharePoint and FAST ESP.

The goal is to deliver clearer search results, but weak taxonomies and non-standard methods can make a difficult situation even worse.
