August 5, 2010 – There are many arguments for standards in business, technology, and other fields, for both consumers and providers. Though some feel standards restrict creativity and innovation, the key is timing.
.Net – Developer’s Journal recently published a blog post, “We Need Standards… and Now!”, in which the author is arguing for standards in technology, development, and specifically in platform services delivered via the cloud. The author is firm that standards formation should happen sooner rather than later.
