WorthPoint Makes a Good Bid

October 5, 2010 – Worthpoint, a provider of valuation for art, antiques and collectibles, has been totally revamped and re-launched. Now reaching over 10,000 subscribers and offering new features, Worthpoint “is just getting started,” according to CEO Will Seippel.

New features include new search functionality, a robust taxonomy structure enabling faster, more precise value assessments, community forums for both free and paid members, and an iPhone/iPad application enabling a full range of search and analytics functions for users when attending auctions, trade shows, estate sales and other remote locations.

This interesting piece was found on AuctionBytes in their article, “WorthPoint Reaches Subscriber Milestone, 10,000 Paid Users.”

Another perfect example of robust taxonomies being used to manage and find content in a timely manner.
