Online Reputation Monitoring Tool Released

April 7, 2011 – SAS has a new tool that allows companies to monitor social network conversations related to their brand and more actively manage their online reputation. This “fly on the wall” Conversation Centre tool is scheduled to be released in May and will be an addition to their Social Network Analysis (SNA) software.

This interesting piece of news was found on V3.co.uk in their post, “SAS touts conversation monitoring tool for social media streams.” Users can monitor conversations on Twitter for key words and phrases and their sentiment. They expect to include Facebook and LinkedIn in future releases.

The tool is based on unique taxonomies that SAS will create and then let firms update themselves. Having the capability to quickly modify and manage your own taxonomy (expecially when a firm foundation has already been established) is a valuable option, one that we at Access Innovations firmly believe in.
