April 19, 2011 – A workshop on automated reasoning about context and ontology evolution will take place in Barcelona, Spain on July 17-18, 2011.

Cordis News brought this to our attention in their post, “Workshop on automated reasoning about context and ontology evolution, Barcelona, Spain.”  If you need even more reason to visit Barcelona in July, this might be the clincher.

Topics on hand at this workshop will include the difficulty of designing, controlling, and maintaining an ontology – and its different versions. Though versions of automated reasoning have solved a large number of problems in computer science, the different ontologies and sometimes different logic applied create additional challenges.
