Looking for more information around the semantic web? Like the Mediterranean? The 3rd International Workshop on Semantic Web Information Management will be held June 12-16, 2011 in Athens, Greece.

This exciting event was brought to our attention by Cordis in their article, “Third International Workshop on Semantic Web Information Management, Athens, Greece.” The event will review the most recent data-centered solutions for the semantic web. This means extending the network of hyperlinked, human-readable web pages by inserting machine-readable metadata about pages and how they are related to each other.

The conference program will focus on the logical basis of the semantic web and the logical foundations of conceptual modeling, and where they meet. Current research and projects in the field will also be a focal point of discussions. For more information, visit their website.

I don’t know about you, but I sure would like to learn more about the semantic web in Greece.
