Nanyang Technological University has selected EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS), after an extensive trial process of many services, to enable findability of the library’s content from a single search box.

We found this news on Digital Journal in their article, “Nanyang Technological University Brings Simplified Search to Users with EBSCO Discovery Service.”

According to Hazel Loh, Deputy Director of Systems and Technology, one of the deciding factors was finding a service that would create a good search experience to draw users to the library.

A solid taxonomy is needed to ensure the machine-assisted or fully automated indexing is comprehensive. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies to make their information findable.
