From the Office to Your Pocket?

Accusoft Pegasus releases Barcode Xpress Mobile for Android™. Barcode Xpress will provide patient record indexing in apps built for medical professionals, allowing instant accessibility to patient medical information.

We found this interesting information on PRWeb in their article, “New Mobile Barcode Product Released by Accusoft Pegasus.” A healthcare worker scans a patient’s chart or wristband to pull the patient records from an online database using a mobile device. They can also view medical images from a patient record with the a mobile imaging toolkit, AIMTools SDK.

Taking a technology that not so long ago was progressive for the office into the world of mobile applications is a nice use of software and hardware development.
